From a long line of engineering and enterprise, the Sprouse name has been synonymous with hard work and consideration for generations.

 

Sam Sprouse began his journey turning ideas into reality in 2010, beginning an apprenticeship at Collins Machine and Tool Company, a machine shop specializing in subtractive manufacturing. After gaining experience in operating machine tools, he furthered his education in mechanical design and became certified in SolidWorks as well as AutoCAD.

Sprouse Additive Manufacturing was the next step towards addressing and solving the problems that manufacturers face daily. With his experience in subtractive manufacturing, he was able to identify the benefits of combining the utility of additive manufacturing to bridge the gaps between capabilities of traditional machine tools. Thus, SAM LLC was founded in 2025.
